Join Ulster Wildlife’s Living Seas Team and the Heart of the Glens Landscape Partnership Scheme for a rockpool and cave exploring adventure. Explore the famous Cushendun caves with a local expert. This is also a great site for family rockpooling with dozens of different seaweeds, beautiful beadlet anemones and plenty of opportunity to find crabs, fish, sea urchins and other marine life hiding between the rocks.

FAMILY FRIENDLY? Yes; children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult

SURFACE: Rocky and slippy surface

FOOTWEAR: Walking boots/Wellingtons/Sturdy shoes

CLOTHING: Check forecast beforehand and dress suitably
