Conservation Ranger (North Antrim) p/t

Salary: £19,520 per annum (pro rata), plus access to contributory pension to a maximum of 7% employer contribution.

Location: North Antrim – working from home

We are seeking a responsible and committed individual to champion red squirrel conservation in North Antrim by directly managing the spread of invasive non-native grey squirrels. You will also provide advice and support to landowners to control non-native species to help protect red squirrels in and surrounding remaining strongholds.

Contract: Fixed term to 21 August 2019, with a 6 month probationary period

Hours: 20 hours per week. This role is delivered on an annualised hours basis. There may be a requirement to work more hours in the spring and summer months and fewer in the autumn and winter months. Flexibility is a requirement, where there is a need to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
