About the event

Join Nature Reserves Officer, Ryan Bradley to find out more about the secret lives of bats on a guided walk around Balloo Woodland Nature Reserve.

Equipped with torches and bat detectors, discover the different species of bat that use the nature reserve as their home and hunting grounds. Which bats will you find?

Parking is available at the reserve entrance on Balloo Avenue, opposite the recycling centre.

Most of the walk will take place on formal paths but there will be some areas of long grass to negotiate. 

Suitable for all ages - under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. 

This event will be followed by tea, coffee and refreshments.

Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.
