Some basic IT skills might also be beneficial, depending on the activities under taken.  Resourcefulness and a degree of flexibility are also important for volunteering on our nature reserves. Volunteers must have a basic understanding of English, as this is important for health and safety reasons due to the use of tools and machinery.

Other sites may be available to assist with as per the work programme requirements.

Available training: Volunteers will have the opportunity to gain on the job training in a range of nature conservation skills, in the use of hand tools and machinery, and in associated health and safety issues.
