Environmental Farming Scheme Planner & Group Facilitator

Salary: £26,921 to £28,378 per annum

Location: Fermanagh House, Broadmeadow Place, Enniskillen, BT74 7HR

We are seeking an experienced environmental professional to facilitate the Environmental Farming Scheme (EFS) Group Programme in Fermanagh and Tyrone, preparing plans for scheme participants and ensuring that designated lands participating within the scheme move towards favourable condition status. The post holder will work on some of the most special sites in Northern Ireland, supporting landowners in caring for our valuable habitats and rare species.

Contract: Fixed term to 31 December 2022.

Hours: Full-time post - with regular weekend and evening working.

The post holder will act as a locally based point of contact for landowners/managers helping them to address the issues and challenges of farmland habitat management, facilitate skills development & disseminate best practice through group-based activities and though providing mentoring and advice. This will help landowners/managers proactively manage sites and ensure compliance with EFS obligations and statutory requirements where applicable.
