Red Squirrel Officer (North Antrim) p/t

Salary: £19,520 - £22,966 (pro rata) plus access to contributory pension to a maximum of 7% employer contribution

We are seeking a passionate and committed individual to champion red squirrel conservation in North Antrim. Working with community groups, businesses, local government and the general public, you will run events, activities and provide learning opportunities to raise awareness of the impact of non-native invasive species on local wildlife, with a particular focus on red squirrels. You will also assist with monitoring to evaluate impact, collecting and processing scientific data.

Contract: Fixed-term to 21 August 2019, with a 6 month probationary period.

Hours: 17.5 hours per week. Flexibility is a requirement, where there is a need to work evenings and weekends.
