About the event

View red kites as they gather before roosting, from three different vantage points with spectacular views, Hear about the story of their reintroduction to Northern Ireland and their ecology

  • This tour will involve travelling by car (following your guide) to three different viewpoints. Please car share if possible.
  • Please dress appropriately for the outdoors and inclement weather conditions - warm clothing, waterproofs, hat and gloves.
  • Sturdy walking footwear is recommended, as there will be some uneven terrain on the short walk.
  • Bring binoculars if you have them.
  • Tea, coffee and homemade cake will be provided.
  • There are no toilet facilities at any of the viewpoints but a comfort break will be possible at Turnip House Cafe & Shop
