PEAT+ Project Ecologist

In this exciting role, you’ll lead on ecological monitoring across a network of upland and lowland peatland sites, supporting project partners in delivering baseline surveys, biodiversity assessments, and mapping. You’ll work with a wide range of stakeholders—from conservation staff and landowners to volunteers and local communities.
We’re looking for someone with:
Comprehensive knowledge of flora, fauna and key nature conservation issues
Technical knowledge of peatland ecology and restoration
Strong ecological survey and monitoring skills
Experience analysing data and producing scientific reports
Confidence working in the field and building relationships with farmers and landowners
Experience in the use of GIS software to map, collect and analyse environmental data.
