About the event

Hear about the glacial and prehistory of the landscape and how peatlands have formed, as well as our plans to turn the forestry plantation back into bog. 

  • Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for an outdoor event.
  • Bring a packed lunch and enjoy superb views of the majestic Sperrin mountains.
  • The walk will be no longer than 3.5 miles in total.
  • Bring binoculars if you have them.
  • Suitable for all ages - under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
