Nestled in a wooded river valley, Glenarm Nature Reserve is home to a wide range of native wildlife and is a feast for the senses in spring. Join Nature Reserves Officer John McLaughlin, as he takes you on a guided walk of the reserve exploring the ancient oak trees, the swathe of spring wildflowers and the array of butterflies and birds.

  • The walk will be no longer than 3 miles in total.
  • Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for an outdoor event.
  • Suitable for all ages - under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Meeting point: Please do not go directly to the reserve. John will meet you in Glenarm Car Park & Public toilets north of the Glenarm River. If coming from the east, this is over the river and on your right-hand side. 

There are no toilet facilities at the nature reserve; the nearest public toilets are located at the meeting point.
