Sea Deep Education Pack

About the Sea Deep Education Pack

Did you know, there are at least 20 sharks and rays in our local seas? And that many species, such as the flapper skate, are critically endangered?

Ulster Wildlife is working with sea anglers and coastal communities to help protect these vulnerable marine animals through our shark conservation project, Sea Deep.

Your school can play its part in this vital work through our online Sea Deep Education programme with downloadable presentations and activities designed to help Key Stage 3 students learn more about our local sharks and inspire them to take a stronger role in local nature conservation.

  • Activity sheets, interactive games and practical experiments
  • A quiz related to each lesson to engage and broaden further understanding of each topic.
